Presently I spend much of my energy as both an artist and an active member of several nonprofit boards. I have a deep history of leading and supporting local, state, regional and national nonprofit organizations over the past three decades, to include my present board positions.
My artistic focus is wide and varied. I spend much time and direction on both climate change and the loss of biodiversity related paintings, online briefings, and large installations. On my art website, you can peruse “Our Changing Planet” which is a series comprised of twelve paintings I created. I also created a complimentary, and similarly entitled, 18 minute long narrated “TedX styled” briefing. In addition, my large installation “What Man Has Wrought” – and other climate-focused art, is featured on the international online artist forum “ClimateCultures.”
I both co-produced and conducted the interviews in support of the documentary “Bluestown Rising.” The Norwegian based production company, “Kings Mountain Production” worked closely with Steven Van Zandt, who was the film’s Executive Producer. The one hour long Norwegian TV version of the documentary is available for viewing online. The full length feature version of this film was recently completed. It is presently being marketed to Netflix and others. Trailers are available online.
I am the co-author of “The Rockets’ Red Glare”, a forecast fiction novel, with co-author John Darrin.(388p), Biblioque, 2015. Available for review and purchase on Amazon in both paper and Kindle editions.
